Sailing Vacation Payment Policy

You will be counted as part of a crew for a sailing trip ONLY if you register through the web site with your Credit Card information. If you prefer to give give your Credit Card on the phone call us at +1 212 786 0400 but register through the web site.

If you do not register and ONLY declare your interest you are not signed up. We recommend that you first declare your interest so that you are on our radar for updates and meet up, then check out your flights or pre-book your flights, then register and book your flights.

Your Credit Card will be charged $300.00 when you register, then $500.00 2 months before departure, then $500.00 one month before departure. The rest is charged 2 weeks before departure. If you need payment arrangements please contact us beforehand.

Discounts

Discounts are offered to help you minimize the cost of the charter

1. Bring with you more crew and receive $100.00 discount on your sailing trip per crew that you are referring to us and joining you for a sailing charter.

2. Repeated customer receive $100.00 per sailing vacation.

3. Back to back customers for the same destination - 2 or 3 weeks trip - get a $100 discount per week.

4. Maximum discount possible up to $200.00 pp per sailing vacation.

5. First mates will receive a discount up to $400 per trip.

Payment Policy

1. Payment Schedule

Please note that you will be charged 50% of the charter cost at registration.

The reminder will be charged 4 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

2. Payment arrangements

If you need specific payment arrangements please contact us by e-mail. We will try to accommodate you as much as possible.

Refunds and Cancellation fees

You get a full refund if you cancel your registration 60 days before the sailing trip. If you cancel after this date you will be charged $800.00 - except in case of a medical or a family emergency that you will have to justify.

If you cancel your registration less than 2 weeks before departure you will be charge 80% of the charter fee.

If you cancel within a week of the departure you will be charged 100% of the charter cost, except in case of a medical or a family emergency that you will have to justify.

Note that if you find someone to replace you if you cancel we might be able to waive cancellation fees.

Please note that itineraries, boat organization and selection are only tentative. Skippers are in charge and responsible for their boat and crew. They may have to take decisions for safety reasons that may alter itinerary, choice of boats, boat configuration and organization, etc. No refund will be granted in case of change of itinerary or change of boats for weather related, technical or safety reasons. In addition, no refund will be granted in case of delays due to weather condition or for safety reasons.
